We have a flashback!We jump back two days, and Sparty and the German Hotties are discussing their plan to break out of the ludus. Lucretia isn’t all giggles and cheer, though, and it turns out she’s the one who came up with the fight between Spartacus and Crisco.Later on, Batty summons a chained Spartacus to his office, and explains that the chains are due to Glaber’s patronage. I miss Barca and Pietros.In Batty’s office, Ash-hole comes in and sleazily checks out Oh-Really before showing Batty his vial of poison. But if you kill me, promise me you’ll find Old Navy."Whoa, this is getting kind of hot … lots of tension …Spartacus answers, "All right, dude, if you promise me if you kill me you’ll also kill Batty …" Then they kind of stare at each other in that smoldering way …Well, they don’t, but they do shake hands.
Whoa! Holy crap! She stabs that guy like she’s Theocles! Damn, Mira! You go, girl!One final flashback brings us to that morning, and Batty and Lucretia are getting pumped for the day’s festivities. Let’s just say he’s half right about having something coming to him.As Sparty and Crisco continue beating the crap out of each other, Mira slowly slinks away to the gate and purposefully breaks a jar so she can use a shard of it to kill a guard. No doubt, Numerical thinks he’s got more of that coming to him.
He tells her it was Numerical who called for Varro’s death, but she wants none of it. Sparty sees Oh-Really and tells her that he’ll try to keep her safe, but she doesn’t want to talk to him. Ash-hole then pours some poison onto Crisco’s plate.In the ludus, the gladiators are all chained up and eating, when Spartacus and the German Hotties discuss their plans. Ash-hole is like, "Uh, don’t really think that’s going to happen." He’s about to get cozy with her when Mira shows up and rescues her, telling her she’s needed in the square.
But wait for it … yes he will! Using the same move they did on Theocles, Crisco launches Sparty up to the balcony in an attempt to kill Batty, but Batty gets another guy instead. But Crisco will just not man up and do it. This is it.Spartacus is doing his best to not finish off Crisco, begging him to join him even as the poison takes hold and weakens him. Snap! She looks like she’s about to tell him about the poison food, but instead just lets him eat it.Okay, here we go, we now cut to the present. Back up — what?!"Meanwhile, Lucretia comes to visit Crisco in his cell and tells him she’s willing to forgive and forget everything if he tells her Old Navy meant nothing to him, and he’s all, "Bitch, please." She tells him she’s pregnant with his child, and he tells her he would love to have a child … with Old Navy.
AAAHHHH!!!!!!Crisco yells for the gladiators to kill them all! Gladiators versus guards!! All hell’s breaking loose!People are screaming and running! Damn, son, this is the worst party ever! Unless, you’re a slave in which case, it totally rocks.Inside the villa is total chaos, and Lucretia yells for Paris to get her guards, but that beeyotch is up to something and vamooses. But then Crisco leaps up and cuts the whip! Holy crap! Spartacus starts swinging away.
